I get that question asked a lot when I've been interviewed by a recruiter, talent manager, or hiring manager. After my position was eliminated at Readers Digest Association in 2011, I started a small business developing digital marketing plans for small business on tight budgets. Launching a new brand

freshHOME magazine was positioned for today’s new design-it-yourself audience. The targeted demographics were women with an average age of 39, a younger demographic than other Reader Digest Association brands. As part of the launch team, my responsibility was to find partners who shared the same synergies to generate brand awarness and subscription revenue.
